A Joyous February at The Olde House

February is such a joyous month for us at The Olde House, The farm is full of new life with all our new lambs and this year we have had such a lucky month not only with the weather, but with our guests getting to watch lambs being born. There’s nothing quite like seeing the joy on someone’s face when they witness a newborn lamb taking its first wobbly steps and even getting to cuddle them.

Lambing Weekends and Family Fun

Our lambing weekends and February half term saw our cottages full. The farm was buzzing with families eager to experience life in the lambing sheds. Some arrived just in time to see lambs being born and others waited on our lambing hotline and got to witness them throughout their stay. While others were happy to cuddle the lambs. It’s always special to share these moments with people who may have never been this close to farm life before.

The Lucky Lambing Tour

The Lucky Lambing Tour is always a highlight for our guests, Where Jaime gave us all a fascinating insight into the lambing process. Of course, with all the excitement comes plenty of long days (and nights) for Olly and Rob on the farm.

Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this February, it really feels like a month to remember.
